I’m a former public educator who has turned 20 years of trip-planning and exploring the world into a full-time travel business. I’m obsessed with seeing the world, sometimes I do that with family, with my friends, and many times I do so as a solo female traveler. Because I live in a bigger body, I share my perspective of doing so for other plus-size travelers who may wonder what the world feels like in other parts of the world.

I plan my trips on a real, middle-of-the-road budget [not backpacker-cheap, not luxury-brand] which helps my audience understand the cost impact of each adventure.

Dog Mom Adventures

I’m not the only adventurer in the house! My dog Ellie also loves to explore the wonderful world around her. She loves being in the car and could sniff new places all day long if I’d let her. My 70-pound rescue bestie is one of the best road trip companions on the planet having been all over Texas as well as several national parks in Arizona, New Mexico, South Dakota, along with Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska. Next, we’re hoping to visit Louisiana and Mississippi.

My pet travel content is real, not editorial and is focused on pet-friendly (snack*) locations, activities, and hotels.

As a former teacher, I use my social media to help people by sharing information about locations and experiences. My most popular videos with over 100,000 views focus on popular cruise ports and listing activities to try in a particular city. My Galapagos series is my most popular, with continuous replies of appreciation for the helpful information.
