If I had to choose my FAVORITE area in our tour of Costa Rica, it would be Tamarindo. This beach town has everything you need to relax, have fun, and refresh. Here you’ll see some of the best sunsets this world has to offer so I’d splurge to stay on the beach.
We stayed at Hotel Diria with a beach view room. While there we mostly just hung out and relaxed after days of hiking rain forests. We did a snorkeling and sunset catamaran tour which was fabulous. You can see all the details in the guide below.
