Galveston Island, just an hour south of Houston, is a fun getaway for city friends and family. It’s got a little something for EVERYONE! I have enjoyed solo trips here, girls trips, trips with my dog, Ellie. I’ve gone with family, with kids, and LOVE visiting when catching a Carnival or Royal Caribbean cruise! This guide will be a work in progress, as I visit multiple times a year so I’ll keep the updates dated.
