What a beautiful part of Costa Rica! A MUST-visit to any trip is the central area of Volcano Arenal and the city of La Fortuna. The majestic mountain hangs in the background creating an energy that I didn’t feel in the other areas we traveled. The thermal spas are perfect after a day hiking or walking on the Mistico hanging bridges.
We stayed at Volcano Lodge and enjoyed our own private thermal spa. Talk about #treatyoself vibes! They were super friendly, quiet, and had a great on-site restaurant with an included breakfast, and great options for lunch and dinner that should please anyone you’re traveling with.
