Who doesn’t want to visit a rain forest with lots of cute animals AND hit one of the best beaches in the world?! We visited Manuel Antonio National Park because of its placement in the book 1,000 Things To See Before You Die. It has beautiful beaches, and the animal tour was amazing. It is a bit of a drive from San Jose, on the mid-Southwest coast, but we had a great time once we got there. Due to multiple strikes and protests we didn’t get as much time in the park so we didn’t get much time on the beach but we had enough time to have some fun. Once it started drizzling, about an hour before they closed, we ended up with the beach practically to ourselves. That was a real treat!
Talk about an Instagrammers ideal location!
