I have such fond memories of Corpus Christi. My family and I used to go every summer and we would play on the beach all day, until my brother and I begged to go to the swimming pool. At night, we’d go to the race track and make $2 show bets, thinking we were the richest kids in the world. So, when I returned to the area three decades later, it was nostalgic but also brand new.
One of my favorite parts of the trip was exploring the USS Lexington. It was REALLY interesting to explore 7 decks of the huge aircraft learning how life was on a boat, or really, a floating city. I used my GoPro to capture the fascinating aircraft collection they have. Check it out!
